How to use snippets?

Hi, this is obviously not an issue, but I really do not understand how snippets can be recalled from history.

I configured a test snippet and put logs to trace for clipcatd, so I can see that it correctly loads the snippet, but then I don't know how to get the snippet's contents.

I am using dmenu and i3, but also in clipcatctl cli I did not find any reference to snippets.
