XTRX Tx Buffer Overrun

I am using the OSMOCOM source with the XTRX (via PCI express) on GNU Radio version 3.7.14 and found that there appears to be a bottleneck in the data throughput, causing what appears to be a buffer to overfill faster than it can send it to the LMS chip. My sample rate on GNU Radio is 20MHz but this also occurs if I set a lower sample rate (10MHz or 5MHz) but to a lesser extent (it send more data samples but still overfills). Has anyone else experienced this problem and any ideas what is causing it?

I've had this issue both on Tx and Rx. It's a flaw in the FPGA code of the XTRX and how the PCIe buffer works. Maybe it's fixable without messing with the FPGA but I'm not an expert. Don't expect it to ever get fixed as I doubt anyone will pick this project up while Fairwaves is MIA.
