Thank you for reporting this. However, I feel that this is not a bug in the spirit of preventing overzealous input validation. The input is accepted and only the value is stored. The extra backslash does not hinder functionality in any way or affect the user at all.

However I do not agree that it is not a bug, as "/" is not an input that should be in the amount field, it is highly likely that user might have mistyped it while intending to input something else such as the decimal point "." which is right next to the "/" key.

For example in the screenshot shown above, the app ignored the the values after the backslash and accepted the input with no warning or error message, however the input recorded is clearly not what the user intended to record down.

By just accepting the input without any warning or error message, the user might be unaware of the unintended behavior. Further more it was not stated in the UG that extra" /" is allowed for the input. Thus I do not agree with this issue being rejected.
