Encodec's training speed

I am training encodec on my own dataset (300+ hours, 1.2 million samples), it takes 1.7s for one iteration (8 V100, the batch size for one GPU is 28). It totally takes 30days to train 300 epoches. 😱
I am not sure the speed is okay?
