Start with installation, then follow your assigned role guide.
Installation includes guided computer setup for Mac and Linux.
Coordinators can then use guided ceremony preparation.
Other roles use guided onboarding, then the
resumable role workflow. Start or resume with the installer's
printed start.sh command; no settings-loading command is needed.
Use the ceremony flow map to see how the role lanes and
handoffs fit together before starting.
| Your assignment | Guide |
|---|---|
| Coordinator | Coordinate the ceremony |
| Participant | Contribute in each phase |
| Public witness | Observe the closure |
| Mirror operator | Retain an independent copy |
| Auditor | Replay and audit |
| Final-parameter signer | Review and sign the final parameters |
Only read these tasks when assigned: production decision, upload signed evidence.
The coordinator supplies ceremony-specific public files and explains the remaining handoffs. Keep private keys on the machine that owns them. A website status or successful upload does not replace proof-tool verification.
Infrastructure administrators and developers use maintainer reference. The scripted rehearsal is a separate developer exercise, not a prerequisite for every operator.
