You call your project hbase-jdo yet this is NOT JDO. JDO is Java Data Objects 
and is a standardised API for persistence of Java objects to a datastore. You 
do NOT use that API, don't have a PersistenceManager or anything else from JDO. 

I would strongly suggest you rename your project to not use "jdo" in the name 
since it is not that. 

This does not detract from how good (or otherwise) your code is, just that the 
naming is misleading.
