The main changes as the commits say consider:
I don't think that this would be merged as the (upstream) project is mostly dead and integrating decsync into a maintained project should be considered to avoid repeating the same issue (same as here and Flym).

This is some of the changes I have in mind to the reader. Please check #18 and consider if you'd like to continue those two -DecSync forks or maybe we can bring DecSync support to one of the mentioned actively developed readers (I can imagine that the developers would accept such contribution).
