A one-page site for a Baghdad restaurant and cafe, built with no framework and no build step: hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript, animated with GSAP + ScrollTrigger. Ten menu categories, a filterable gallery, testimonials, an embedded map and a custom cursor — in three files you can open by double-clicking.
This is an unsolicited design concept, built as portfolio work. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or commissioned by IN VOGUE, and it is not their official website.
Because the page carries a real business's name, everything that could act on their behalf is deliberately disabled:
- the phone number is a placeholder, and the call and WhatsApp buttons no longer dial or message anyone — a public page carrying a real number takes enquiries the business never agreed to receive
- the testimonials are labelled sample copy, not real customer reviews
- the page is marked
noindex, so it can never appear above the real business in search- a permanent on-page badge states that it is a concept
The only outbound link left is to the restaurant's own public Instagram, which points at them rather than impersonating them.
If you represent the business and want this taken down — or would like it to become your real site — open an issue and I will act on it.
There is no build and nothing to install:

Content lives in data.js, so the menu, gallery and testimonials can be changed without touching
the markup.
Fonts come from Google Fonts and GSAP from a CDN, so the first load needs a network connection. Gallery and menu imagery is from Unsplash placeholders — real photography would replace it in an actual build.
