My current technology-related side projects focus on Linux niche technologies, especially NixOS. I'm thoroughly enjoying the superpower that is ```nix-shell `` for containerised, ephemeral developer environments. Nix's composability has significant potential for time savings. There's this seemingly awkward balance between short-term investment and the eventual payoff that I am not far enough through this journey to comment on fully yet. This may be a pyrrhic victory!
