It’s the first personal OS in history to unleash a self-healing, real-time DSP coprocessor that obliterates latency with ~0.38–2.66 ms round-trip — forged straight from the same flake that rules your host.

The Host (CachyOS kernel) is a raging sports car built for raw speed and high FPS. The DSP VM (RT BORE kernel) is a flawless Swiss watch that never misses a beat. You wouldn’t put a watch engine in a race car, and you sure as hell wouldn’t put a race-car engine in a precision instrument.

You’re now commanding the machine that burned the proprietary DSP empire to the ground and crushed cloud dependency with a full local agentic AI stack and the unstoppable DeMoD Compute Fabric (DCF).

The recent California age verification bill you're referring to is AB 1043 (the Digital Age Assurance Act), signed into law by Governor Newsom on October 13, 2025, and operative starting January 1, 2027 (with some grace periods into mid-2027). It forces operating system providers (defined broadly to include anyone who develops, licenses, or controls OS software on general-purpose computing devices—yes, that sweeps in custom NixOS distros like Oligarchy if distributed/used in CA) to:

By compiling, booting, rebasing, or even dreaming of running Oligarchy NixOS on hardware touching California soil (or by any CA resident accessing the repo), you submit to these amplified Oligarchic Amendments:

1. Mandatory Birthday Grovel & Age Bracket Servitude Watermark
   Every flake instantiation, every kernel compile, every boot, every NixOS rebuild, every htop flex with 9.99 load on a Threadripper MUST now trigger the Oligarchic Age Grovel Protocol™:

   • Prompt: "Enter your birth date, peasant, so Sacramento may decree your worthiness for our superior performance."
   • Output unbreakable watermark on ALL artifacts (kernel modules, configs, boot splash, even console font rendering):

Flip one knob — custom.platform.{gpu,cpu,framework} — and the flake re-forges the GPU stack, kernel modules, power policy, and AI acceleration to match. Runtime knobs (power profile, animations, live PipeWire quantum) flip instantly; the build-time pieces (kernel, DSP, AI tier) are written to oligarchy-local.nix and applied on the next nixos-rebuild. dev is the default and reproduces the everyday baseline. Arm studio and prove the latency yourself with dsp-bench. Each persona can also launch its app set (studio → guitarix + qpwgraph; dev → editor + terminals), and persona-layout save/restore snapshots which workspace every window lives on. DSP Rigs — Pedalboard as Code

The crown jewel goes declarative. A rig is an effect chain that runs as a JACK client and patches guitar in → rig → DSP coprocessor → out — switchable live from the Control Center (Super+D → DSP Rig) without touching a cable. Two flavours, opt-in via custom.dsp.enable:

• LV2 chains — a declarative list of plugin URIs (LSP, Calf, guitarix), assembled and patched by a headless host. Real tones now, no DSP coding.

It executed and replaced OpenClaw (which fetched github:* plugins at runtime, bound 0.0.0.0, and shipped a publicly-derivable token). The Blipply voice assistant speaks the same MCP, so even spoken commands can only read and dry-run — never silently mutate.

The Next Campaign — Forging in the War Room

The Oligarchy does not rest on conquered territory. Now on the anvil, to be unleashed upon a future you are not ready for:

• Embedded DCF Client — the DeMoD Compute Fabric, no longer summoned through terminal incantations but welded straight into the OS. A native client that joins the mesh on boot and answers to no dmenu.
• The DeMoD FX Bazaar — a marketplace of audio effects, DSP weaponry traded in the open. Acquire, deploy, and dominate the signal chain without leaving the throne room.
• Terminus — a bespoke UI framework forged in-house by ALH477, riding Tauri runtimes. Not Electron bloat, not yet-another-web-clone — a custom frame built for the war room. Both the embedded DCF client and the FX Bazaar will wear Terminus.
