firmware doesnt conatin all the required binaries

Thank you for enabling the firmware as part of the ACS build. Reference: #777

We tested with the latest sync and can now see the qcom firmware folder as expected. However, it currently contains only gen70500_zap.mbn, while the remaining required firmware binaries appear to be missing.

For reference, the complete set of binaries is available here: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/qcom/x1e80100

Could you please check why the other firmware binaries are not being included in the ACS build .

Could you please build DT image using below fork branch and please do verify that whether all required binaries are available under /lib/firmware/qcom/X1E80100.

Thanks for the build, we observed these firmware are getting mounted in /usr/lib/firmware/ instead of /lib/firmware.

could you please make the change. we are able to see all the required binares .

This is expected with the Yocto usrmerge layout. /lib links to /usr/lib, so /lib/firmware/qcom/x1e80100 contains the same binaries.
Please verify with:
ls -ld /lib
ls /lib/firmware/qcom/x1e80100
Installing a separate physical /lib/firmware would conflict with the systemd/Yocto usrmerge configuration.

Thanks for the response.

I have upstreamed the changes to include the required X1E80100 firmware under /lib/firmware/qcom/x1e80100/. We have also upgraded the Yocto Linux kernel to v7.2.2 and DT bindings to v7.2.3.

Could you please verify the latest changes from your end and share your feedback? If you encounter any further issues, please create a new ticket.

For now, we will proceed with closing this ticket.
