Hey there 👋 I'm Aarav, a B.Tech CSE student and a coding enthusiast who treats every project like a matchday. I study the game, take on the defenders, and look for that one bit of skill that gets the ball in the net.
Off the lecture benches, I'm on the Junior Committee of the Web Dev team at Nexus — MUJ chapter 🛠️, where I build for the web with the squad and learn something new every week. I learn by doing: I start projects, break them, fix them and ship them, and every bug is just another defender to get past. Football is where most of my ideas start, but not all of them — my latest build is Aarav Airlines, a flight booking site with planes flying round a spinning globe
- 🎓 Academy: B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering
- 🛠️ Current club: Jr. Committee · Web Dev team @ Nexus MUJ
- ⚽ Style of play: simple passes, clean commits, and a bit of flair when it counts
- 🎯 This season: finish more projects than I start, and concede fewer goals to Bugs FC
- 🧠 In training: sharper debugging, cleaner code, and the next language on the list
- 🇧🇷 Off the pitch: watching Neymar clips at 2 AM and calling it "research"
✈️ Away days: building travel UIs — globes, routes and boarding passes
"Play with flair. Ship with style."
⏱️ Quick question… who's winning? (click for the result)
Me. Always in stoppage time.
The bugs score first, every single match — NullPointer, off-by-one, merge conflicts. Doesn't matter. The winner always comes at 90+4'. Keep scrolling for the stats. ↓

🟢 Starting XI — what I play with every day
| Position | Player | Role on the pitch |
|---|---|---|
| 🧤 Keeper | Git | Keeps a clean sheet. Saves me when I break everything. |
| 🛡️ Defence | Python | Solid, reliable, reads the game. |
| ⚙️ Midfield | JavaScript | Runs the whole show — links everything together. |
| ⚡ Wing | HTML & CSS | All the flair. The bit everyone actually sees. |
🔵 Training ground — what I'm working on right now
- Building small projects end-to-end and shipping them, not just starting them
- Canvas and d3 animation — spinning globes, flight arcs and planes that actually fly
- Getting sharper at debugging — fewer goals conceded to Bugs FC
- Writing cleaner code: simple passes over hero balls
🔴 Transfer targets — what I want to learn next
- React and building proper web apps
- Backend + APIs, so the whole team plays together
- Contributing to open source — playing in the bigger leagues
Four projects — three on the pitch, one at 38,000 ft. Click a card to see the code, or hit ▶ to play.

🧪 Under the hood (how each one works)
- Aarav Airlines: a canvas globe drawn with d3-geo, great-circle routes lifted into arcs with planes flying them, a split-flap departures board, a seat map and printable boarding passes
- Tactics Board: an SVG pitch, Pointer Events for dragging on mouse and touch, and the whole lineup stored in the share link
- Penalty Shootout: a canvas game loop, a keeper AI built on a Markov chain, and sound made live in Web Audio
- league-sim: Elo ratings and Poisson goals, with 10k seasons running at once in numpy and 17 unit tests
⚽ The ball weaves through a whole season of commits — refreshed every 12 hours.
Fancy a game? Building something fun?
The pitch, the scoreboard and the crowd are all drawn in code (scripts/stadium.py) — the move replays, the bugs keep scoring, the wave never stops. · FT: Aarav 4 – 3 Bugs FC
