What

  • Ships rebuilt unityandroidlibrary.aar carrying the ENG-2926 fix from the private airconsole-unity-android-plugin repo
  • CHANGELOG: Fixed + Changed entries for the new media-key behavior

Why

On Android Automotive the game window consumed media transport keycodes (play, pause, next, previous, etc.), so steering-wheel and head-unit media buttons stopped controlling the car's media playback while a native game ran. Applies the ENG-2902 / PR #61 media-key forwarding fix to the native games path.

Scope / Out of scope

  • In: compiled artifact + changelog. Only the binary crosses into this public repo; native source stays in the private repo per publication boundary.
  • Out: native source changes (private repo), non-automotive behavior.

Behavior change

Media transport keycodes no longer reach Unity input on automotive. Games needing those buttons must use AirConsole controller input.

Testing

TBD
