Hey, I'm Akash Varma Gadiraju 👋

LinkedIn Portfolio Email

Full Stack Developer based in Hyderabad with 4 years building production IoT and real-time systems — a device-agnostic platform running 300–500 devices across 5–8 enterprise clients, a DSL that let clients define device protocols at runtime without a redeploy, and EV charging infrastructure on OCPP 1.6J.

I build things to see if I can, then keep the ones that turn out useful. Lately most of that curiosity points at AI — I'd rather build the automation than be automated by it.

🔧 What I Work With

Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, SQL

Frontend: React, Next.js, React Native

Backend: Node.js, Express, Prisma, REST APIs, Microservices

Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, BullMQ, WebSockets, MQTT

Infra: Docker, DigitalOcean, Linux

🚀 What I'm Building

  • Agentic-Company — I tried to automate my own job. A software company made of agents: I'm the client, each agent has a role, and it runs a real SDLC across 8 phases with approval gates. Turns out managing agents is a lot like managing people.
  • argus — a browser workbench for the Model Context Protocol. Scan any MCP server against a live conformance suite, wire servers together on a canvas, browse the spec.
  • Digital-Twin-Simulator — the one I'm proud of. Modular to the point that ~90% of any industrial simulation is already built; point the base at a new industry and go.

💼 Experience Highlights

  • Proposed and built a microservices split across a four-service ecosystem, with a Redis/BullMQ event layer handling circuit breakers, retries, and race conditions.
  • Built Redis-backed connection routing that survives a load-balanced, multi-instance deployment; load-tested to 10,000 concurrent WebSocket connections.
  • Designed a DSL and runtime parser that became a platform's core extensibility layer.
  • Shipped React Native apps to both the Play Store and App Store; mentored two juniors and an intern.
