Instructions:

To download

Directly from within Thetis, under Setup, Appearance then chose Skin Server tab, pick DH1KLM's big collection in the drop down menu, find VA2CST Dark Glass or VA2CST Black Glass and click Download button. To apply the skin, go to Thetis Setup menu, chose Appearance then General tabs and select VA2CST Dark Glass or VA2CST Black Glass in the Skins drop down menu.

If you wish to manually install, Click the Code button and select Download ZIP from my GitHub.

You shall copy the VA2CST Dark Glass and VA2CST Black Glass folders to your Thetis skins folder located at C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR\Skins. You might need to restart Thetis in order for the skin to be selected.

For PowerSDR, copy the VA2CST Dark Glass and VA2CST Black Glass folders to your PowerSDR folder located at C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR\Skins but there are visual issues as some of the graphics have changed in size and positions with the most recent version of Thetis. Read the revision history, there are files that might be used in the folder to match older version of PowerSDR.

VA2CST Dark Glass - Skin description

This skin uses high resolution quality graphics with colored glass style buttons with color change feedback effect. With a dark grey tone background and deep black fade spectral area color, hopefully it will suit for dark viewing environments.

VA2CST Black Glass - Skin description

This skin uses high resolution quality graphics with black glass style buttons with press feedback effect. With an almost fully blacken background (050505) and deep black fade spectral area color, hopefully it will suit for deeper dark viewing environments.

VA2CST Dark & Black Glass Skins are tested with

Thetis 2.10.3.13-HL2 by MI0BOT.

Notes

I have not tested the VA2CST Dark & Black Skins with other software like PowerSDR besides the version described previously. The skins are provided as-is without any warranty that there will be no visual defects or create instability on any of the OpenHPSDR family softwares.

There are known graphical issues in "Collapse" Mode where some of the graphics go out of their visual aspect positions as some graphics are stretched within Thetis software.

You can adjust the appearance to your liking. Note that you SHOULD NOT change the background color as buttons won't look as good since there does not seem to be support for transparancy as of this moment. The background color is matched to the buttons color.
