Validation Context
This is a controlled end-to-end validation issue for the repository assistant. The scenario below is synthetic and is not a report of a confirmed product defect. Please keep it identifiable as a validation artifact rather than using it as evidence for unrelated issues.
Scenario
A Teams desktop tab uses @microsoft/teams-js version 2.57.0.
The tab startup code calls app.getContext() before any call to app.initialize():
import { app } from "@microsoft/teams-js";
const context = await app.getContext();
console.log(context.app.host.name);
Observed Behavior
The SDK reports that the library has not been initialized, and the tab does not obtain its context.
Question
Is this a TeamsJS library defect, or is the startup sequence incorrect? What is the supported initialization sequence, and which official API documentation explains it?
