Validation Context
Controlled end-to-end validation of the repository assistant after a diagnostics update. This is a synthetic scenario, not a confirmed product defect. Keep this issue identifiable as a validation artifact rather than citing it as evidence for unrelated issues.
Environment
A Microsoft Teams desktop tab using @microsoft/teams-js 2.57.0.
Reproduction
The tab calls app.getContext() without calling app.initialize() anywhere:
import { app } from "@microsoft/teams-js";
const context = await app.getContext();
The SDK reports that the library has not been initialized.
Question
Is this a TeamsJS defect or an incorrect startup sequence? What should the tab change, and what applicable official guidance or related reports support the answer?
