### Enabling Increased Memory Limit
In order for Amethyst to run even smoother, it's recommended to increase the RAM limit by enabling "Increased Memory Limit." You can enable it by installing [this](https://github.com/hugeBlack/GetMoreRam/releases/download/nightly/Entitlement.ipa) app with your favourite sideloading service. You will need to sign in with the Apple ID you used in AltStore/SideStore and tap "Refresh" in the App-IDs tab. Choose the App-ID of Amethyst (or LiveContainer if you're using Amethyst in it) and press "Add Increased Memory Limit." After reinstalling Amethyst (or LiveContainer), you can see in the logs, or with tools like [Antrag](https://apps.apple.com/app/antrag/id6747074491), if Increased Memory Limit has been enabled successfully. If not, try again.

@crystall1nedev Is this gonna be merged or moved to the wiki as a section for iOS26 specific shenanigans?

This would be better put in the wiki instead. We need to move a bunch of stuff from the README to the wiki...

appearently we don't need this info at all if we just set a plist flag https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/entitlements/com.apple.developer.kernel.increased-memory-limit
I'm unsure if we might break support for lower versions of iOS with this, but even then: one version for iOS 15+ and one for everything else would be cleaner

If you sign Amethyst and your certificate doesn't have this entitlement, then you won't be able to use Amethyst, so using GetMoreRam from hugeBlack means that Amethyst can still work even if you don't have the entitlement.

Replaced "this" with GetMoreRam and changed Antrag link, since it’s not in the app store anymore

It it really is an issue with incompatible certificates then the proper solution would be to offer both apps, one version with the entitlements and one version without, right? I might be wrong, but in my understanding GetMoreRam doesn't do anything Xcode can't
Amethyst requires a development certificate anyway for JIT, and the ram entitlements do not need special permission from Apple as per documentation https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/entitlements/com.apple.developer.kernel.increased-memory-limit
