Hello, I've setup the nginx reverse proxy with this settings

Both the crt and key were generated correctly with the commands issued on the readme, according to the status report the config should be valid

I have the Axel server running in the background here

But when I launch Konofan the game cant connect to the server so there is no key generated and the key replacer cant access it

Im trying some things but cant get to find where the issue is, any ideas? My main searching point has been the nginx proxy and hosts file editing as it might be the failure point, but I cant find where the issue is.

Can you open that page in the browser? What certificate does it report?
(You need to add some entries in /etc/hosts to do that, the same ones that you use in the emulator)

It doesnt report any certificates, just returns a connection refused as expected

You shouldn't have a dot at the end of the domain name, and make sure you're connecting through HTTPS and not HTTP
Also the patcher may or may not be obsolete if RSA key was changed during one of the updates, we can't really check that right now though

If the connection still doesn't go through, verify your hosts and check if nginx is listening on 443 port

I now got this different one, I wasnt using https on web browser, now it returns an active ceritificate

What certificate is the browser showing? Also fyi, when I was testing it, I had trouble with making the emulator trust the certificate so I suggest checking if Android even trusts the certificate
Checking it with the android browser may not be a viable option though, it's somehow always suspicious of the certificates (even the system ones), just test through the game

It returns it as Axel FD Server containing the keypair, let me try inside Android if it gets to the website

Well, we'll need to wait then, thankfully I exported the whole app including external data and everying from my phone into the emulator thanks to having rooted both my phone and the emulator.

I suppose either one of the client keys got changed, or the client cannot access the server at all.
Start the server with RUST_LOG=debug to see if you are getting any requests from the client when it shows an error alert.
You can also try opening waydroid shell and running curl -v https://api.konosuba.local inside it.

RSA instance is created when game receives first successful response from server, so if server is inaccessible, patcher won't find the RSA key to replace.

The server gets the incomming connection from KonoFD

And the patcher succesfully replaces the key

But I still cant get past the login screen, I get the error "an error connection has ocurred, please check your network connection"

Maybe the AES key was changed? If so, it'll require dumping and disassembling again to get the key
