when making an updated version of the app, we found a problem with the csv readings. the updated version of the app (with the only key differences being aesthetic and not functional) could only process and display data from the csv files it had created and did not show any data from the previously created files. while not a big issue, this could prove to be especially annoying if we are trying to process files from a previous competition into an updated app version.
