This wiki is designed to bring together the various bits of knowledge that will help those who wish to work on projects that will advance night trains.

promoting existing night train services

There are various things needed to help promote existing night train services and they split into three categories

  1. gather - How to get information from different sources for existing night trains. For more details, see here.
  2. store - Information gathered (usually) needs to be stored somewhere and work is underway develop a night train database. However, different capabilities may also be needed. For more details, see here.
  3. present - The information gathered and stored can then be presented in maps and other useful resources. For more details, see here.

campaigning for additional night trains

  1. gather - There have been various studies on potential new services, which needs to be dawn together. For more details, see here.
  2. store - Unlike with current live services, a database (or at least a sophisticated DBMS) probably isn't needed. However, the information gathered will need to be stored somewhere. For more details, see here.
  3. present - Maps and other resources which help show what services could be provided. For more details, see here.
