The Claude synthesize stage now uses deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash via OpenRouter instead of google/gemini-3.7-flash.

Context & Motivation

  • Gemini 3.7 Flash was consuming ~2.67x total character/token volume and running ~2.5x slower (131s avg latency) compared to expectations.
  • deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash is ~80-85% cheaper ($0.15/M input, $0.60/M output vs $0.75/M input, $3.75/M output) with strong code analysis and diff understanding capabilities across a 1M context window.

Both stages stay explicit OpenRouter slugs, prompts/JIRA anchoring/Datadog reporting/verdict submission are unchanged, and the Datadog claude_model tag reports the new model automatically.
