IX-StellaratorForge v0.10.0

Adds SFR-5 Reality Gradient, an adaptive inverse-design and architecture-rejection layer built from the v0.9.0 SFR-4 magnetic campaign.

Primary result

The SFR-4 magnetic family remains rejected:

  • 80 direct-filament coil configurations evaluated
  • 0 configurations passed the combined topology screen
  • 3.826523x transform increase required to reach the minimum iota gate
  • 3.887363% normalized excursion margin remaining
  • held-out normal-field error remains 12.982550x above its declared limit

SFR-5 therefore does not spend additional computational budget brute-forcing the same fixed helical family.

Instead, the next inverse-design search opens additional degrees of freedom across:

  • plasma boundary
  • winding surface
  • nonplanar coil geometry
  • coil currents
  • magnet engineering constraints

Claim boundary

This release does not claim demonstrated finite-beta MHD equilibrium, kinetic confinement, qualified HTS magnets, full 3D TBR, ignition, net-electric fusion, safety qualification, or hardware operation.

SFR-5 earns a stronger search decision, not a stronger fusion claim.

Real movable-geometry sensitivities and production plasma/coil co-design remain future promotion requirements.
