Staff/principal engineer. 25+ years shipping production software, most of it Ruby and Elixir.

For the past year I've been building agentic AI development workflows: multi-stage agent pipelines with human review gates, MCP servers connecting agents to production tooling, and the trust boundaries that decide what an agent is allowed to touch. Most of that work is internal and doesn't live here, so if that's what you came for:

Public work

  • iris — serverless command-line forum software. Ruby, no daemon, no database, runs on a shared host.
  • Ctrl-C.club — I own and administer one of the longest-running community servers in the Tildeverse. Free SSH and web accounts for people learning Linux and building things.
  • grep-fu — Rails-oriented command-line search helper.

Contributions to Elixir, Spree, jsonapi-serializers, and PDF-Writer.
