Closing in favour of #4 (merged).

Two blockers made this un-mergeable as-is:

1. Lockfile drift — Dependabot cannot maintain bun.lock, so this PR bumps package.json only and CI fails at bun install --frozen-lockfile before reaching build/test.

2. TypeScript 7 breaks the build — tsup's declaration step bundles rollup-plugin-dts built against TypeScript 5.7 compiler internals, which the native TS 7 port removed:
   TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'useCaseSensitiveFileNames')

   Verified locally: bun run build passes on 6.0.3 and fails on 7.0.2. Notably tsc --noEmit and all 190 tests do pass on TS 7 — only .d.ts bundling breaks. tsup 8.5.1 is already latest, so there is no fixed version to upgrade to.

TypeScript stays on ^6.0.3 until tsup supports TS 7. #4 takes the vitest bump with a regenerated lockfile.
