Hi, I'm Craven 👋
Since my Apple Genius days I've been on the ops and security side of IT. Locking down endpoints, managing who can access what, chasing SIEM alerts, and cleaning up when something breaks. Lately I've been pulling toward the automation side of things, so I'm taking a course to learn DevOps. Right now I'm working through KubeCraft to get comfortable with Kubernetes and orchestration.
Most of my learning happens in my homelab, where I break things on purpose and then figure out how to un-break them. I built my Arch Linux system from scratch and I'm still adding to it piece by piece. These days I basically live in the terminal, studying for my RHCSA and slowly making friends with containers.

Before all the automation my world was CrowdStrike, Okta, SIEM tuning, IAM, and incident response. That's the part I don't want to leave behind, and it's a big reason DevSecOps clicks for me.
