Speech ML Engineer & Applied Scientist Β· PhD Cognitive Neuroscience (UCL)

I build speech recognition systems for people whose speech doesn't fit the patterns mainstream AI was designed for β€” speakers with dysarthria, aphasia, and other neurological conditions.

What I'm working on

Background

I have an unusual path: Mathematics & Economics (LSE) β†’ Computer Games (Goldsmiths) β†’ Cognitive Neuroscience (UCL). At UCL I built NUVA β€” a CE-marked Class II medical device for speech recovery in aphasia using on-device speech recognition. Published at INTERSPEECH.
