When you are using this addon as a room host it sends state of video you currently watching to our server. This includes video page URL, video page title, video timestamp, name you entered during the initial setup. This information is broadcasted to everyone in a same room as you.
When you are using this addon as a room guest, only the name is sent to the server.
Your data is not stored on our servers and the addon does not send any data when you are not actively using it(not in a room).
Server is open source and you can host you own if you don't trust us.
