v3.1 (October 2026) — Duplicates and a smarter import. Since HA 2026.8, Home Assistant often creates several entries for one device — a Shelly via its own integration and again via the FRITZ!Box. The import now merges these twins automatically, Settings → Possible duplicates lists the ones already imported, and Merge with another device … on the detail page handles the rest by hand. The auto-categorisation was reworked from the ground up: HA device classes never actually reached it before, so smoke detectors, plugs and TVs are now recognised properly, and routers (FRITZ!Box/UPnP) are no longer treated as parent devices. A new per-device field Wall switch bridged? and a new export template Emergency folder cover the fuse-box binder; exports can be sorted by floor › location › name and carry images in the PDF. The import now brings serial number, MAC address and power source along, and the device list shows a photo thumbnail. Devices published via MQTT get a Visit link on their HA device page that opens them directly in the app (needs MQTT; a dedicated HA user for the Mosquitto broker is only needed if the Supervisor does not supply the MQTT credentials — see the manual). Import Excel reads the add-on's own Excel export back in, matching columns by their heading, and either adds the devices or replaces the existing ones (snapshot first). Without a Pro license the Pro features are now actually locked — languages other than English, HA import and recategorization, Excel import/export and PDF export, camera, scanner and device photo, installation photos and documents, the handover fields, bulk edit and switching MQTT on — while existing photos, documents and entries stay visible and MQTT can still be switched off and cleaned up. Deleted devices now stay in the trash for 30 days and are then removed automatically (a snapshot is taken first); Empty trash clears it by hand, and Create snapshot now under Settings → Database snapshots takes a snapshot on demand.
v3.0 (September 2026) — Handover documentation. Three new per-device fields answer the question "what happens to this house when someone else takes over": Works without Home Assistant? (yes / no / unknown), a free-text note on how to operate it without HA, and an external link into another system — the invoice in Paperless-ngx, the manufacturer's manual page. A new export template Removal/electrician produces the list you hand to a tradesperson: location, wiring, power source, works-without-HA — deliberately without serial numbers or purchase data. All three export templates were re-cut to carry only what their reader actually needs.
v2.6 (May 2026) — Built-in user manual, MQTT-Discovery cleanup buttons (orphan + full purge), smarter Companion-app deep-link, "Parents only" filter to collapse multi-channel device families, dynamic category chips, consistent bulk-action bar, and an "Also apply to {count} sub-devices" toggle that propagates manufacturer/warranty/power-source from a parent device to its sub-channels.
v2.5 (April 2026) — Multi-channel device grouping via HA's via_device_id (Shelly 2PM and similar appear as one logical device with sub-channel children). Up to 20 attachment images per device for installation-location documentation. Per-device change history with field-level revert. Custom Excel/PDF export with built-in Insurance and Estate-planning presets, plus seven sort orders.

The import is safe to run repeatedly -- existing devices are detected and skipped automatically. A re-import fills serial number and MAC address into empty fields of existing devices. It only prevents new twins: devices that were already imported twice are not merged by a re-import -- use Settings → Possible duplicates for those.

Au lieu de saisir les appareils manuellement, utiliser la fonction Import HA :
- Aller dans Paramètres > Import Home Assistant
- Cliquer sur Importer appareils HA
- L'application importe tout votre registre d'appareils HA -- fabricants, modèles et intégrations sont mappés automatiquement
- Enrichir les appareils importés avec numéros de série, photos et dates de garantie
L'import peut être exécuté plusieurs fois -- les doublons sont détectés et ignorés automatiquement. Un nouvel import complète le numéro de série et l'adresse MAC dans les champs vides des appareils existants. Il évite seulement les nouveaux jumeaux : les appareils déjà importés en double ne sont pas fusionnés par un nouvel import -- utiliser pour cela Paramètres → Doublons possibles.

En lugar de introducir dispositivos manualmente, usar la función Importar de HA:

Вместо ручного ввода устройств использовать функцию Импорт из HA:
- Перейти в Настройки > Импорт Home Assistant
- Нажать Импортировать устройства HA
- Приложение импортирует весь реестр устройств HA -- производители, модели и интеграции сопоставляются автоматически
- Дополнить импортированные устройства серийными номерами, фотографиями и датами гарантии
Импорт можно запускать несколько раз -- дубли определяются и пропускаются автоматически. Повторный импорт дописывает серийный номер и MAC-адрес в пустые поля существующих устройств. Он лишь предотвращает новые дубли-близнецы: устройства, уже импортированные дважды, повторный импорт не объединяет -- для этого используйте Настройки → Возможные дубликаты.
