2. Run it as administrator from anywhere — it will detect your Resonite install, download this release's zip, extract all files, and run setup
3. Restart your PC if prompted — the virtual microphone driver may require a reboot

Option B — Manual zip install

1. Download DesktopBuddy-Alpha-2026.04.26_20.18.59_813f6f0.zip below
2. Extract directly into your Resonite root folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resonite\) — the zip is already structured to match
3. Run DesktopBuddyManager.exe as administrator from the Resonite root to register the virtual camera, install the virtual microphone driver, and install renderer dependencies
4. Restart your PC if prompted
