Show planned weekly muscle volume and compare it with completed volume #327

Description

@EmilZapata

What problem does this solve?

openGym already calculates muscle volume using effective sets, including contributions from primary and secondary muscles. However, users cannot currently see how much effective muscle volume their weekly plan contains while building or adjusting it, nor compare that planned volume with what they have actually completed during the current week.

These are related but distinct questions:

  1. While editing the weekly plan: how much effective volume is currently programmed for each muscle group?
  2. During the current week: how much effective volume has actually been completed compared with the current plan?

Completed volume must continue to represent exclusively what was actually logged. It should never be replaced or reinterpreted by the plan.

Proposed approach

Weekly Plan

Add a small Weekly muscle volume summary calculated from the current weekly routine.

The calculation should reuse the same effective-set logic already used by Stats / Muscle Balance, including primary and secondary muscle contributions.

Example:

Weekly muscle volume

Chest 12.0 effective sets
Triceps 8.5 effective sets
Front delts 6.0 effective sets
Back 14.0 effective sets

Stats — This week

Keep completed volume as the primary value, but show the current weekly plan as a reference so users can compare Planned vs Completed for each muscle group.

Important semantics:

  • Completed includes only workouts and sets that were actually recorded.
  • Completed may exceed Planned.
  • Extra or freestyle exercises count toward Completed.
  • A muscle with 0 Planned may still have Completed volume.
  • If the weekly routine is modified during the week, Planned reflects the current weekly routine, not a historical snapshot.

Past weeks

For previous weeks, show only Completed volume and do not show Planned. This avoids implying that openGym stored historical plan snapshots when it did not.

The planned and completed calculations should share the existing effective-set logic so primary and secondary muscle contributions remain consistent across Weekly Plan and Stats.

If this direction makes sense, I’d be happy to work on the implementation.
