APL387 Unicode is a redrawn and extended version of Adrian Smith's classic APL385 Unicode font with clean rounded look.
Work is now under way to fix remaining issues and make the font as widely usable as possible, adding characters from less known APL dialects and derivatives, and improving glyph consistency.
Work is also progressing on APL335 Unicode, a proportional variant of APL387 Unicode (much like APL333 is a proportional variant of APL385 Unicode).
The intent is for these fonts to become part of the identity of APL, much in the same way the glyphs themselves currently are. An APL dialect designer might be relieved to find a font with support for so many potential glyphs, and be free to pick one that isn't widely included in fontfaces, without needing to design it themselves or settle for a font that isn't geared for APL just to have a specific glyph.
Eventually, we plan on giving the new fonts more catchy names, maybe Array Sans Mono and Array Sans Text.
