A stash can now link to another in the same context: type >> in the editor and pick one, which inserts label - an ordinary Markdown link, kept in the content so it syncs and encrypts with everything else. No schema change.

A link renders as a chip showing the target's live first line and state (open, completed, moved to another context, deleted, or gone). Hovering it shows a preview; clicking scrolls to it, unfolding Completed or switching context first. Copying a stash to an AI tool appends what it links to, one level deep and size-capped (2,000 chars each, 8,000 total); anything longer is written to a file next to the attachments instead. Auto Clear Completed now keeps a completed stash while an open stash still links to it, one level only, so a chain of old completed stashes cannot keep each other alive - explained under the setting. Deleting a stash, or clearing completed ones, now warns when something still links there. Export/import remaps links to the new ids an import mints.

Along the way, the hover preview it needed exposed a bug already present in the attachment previews: the sideways shift meant to keep a preview inside the window had its sign backwards, and assumed a fixed width narrower than an image preview actually is - so a preview near either edge was pushed further off it instead of back in. Tooltip now measures its own card and corrects for both.

Checked: 248 vitest cases (25 new) and svelte-check (0/0) on the frontend; 169 cargo tests, including new coverage for the one-level auto-clear exemption and for links surviving export/import. Verified the positioning fix live in the screenshots demo at the app's 375px minimum width.
