Description
When dual-boxing World of Warcraft and riding a two-person mount with two characters, the passenger character will occasionally get completely stuck and eventually disconnect from the game. This issue only occurs when using the EllesmereUI addon, and does not happen with the default Blizzard UI.
Reproduction Steps
- Launch two World of Warcraft clients (dual-box two characters)
- Let character A mount a two-person mount and carry character B as the passenger
- Make the driver character A dismount from the mount first
- Observe the status of passenger character B
Actual Behavior
After the driver (character A) dismounts first, the passenger character B cannot move, cast spells, or perform any operations. The character falls into a permanent stuck state, and will eventually be automatically disconnected by the game server after a period of time. This bug occurs intermittently but stably in dual-box scenarios.
Expected Behavior
When the mount driver dismounts actively, the passenger character should automatically exit the mount state normally, restore all movement and operation permissions, and no stuck or disconnection problem occurs, which is consistent with the native game UI logic.
Environment Information
- Addon: EllesmereUI (latest official version)
- Game: World of Warcraft
- Scenario: Dual-box multi-client gameplay, two-person mount riding
- Verification: The problem disappears completely after disabling EllesmereUI, confirming it is an addon-specific bug
