api/cron/index-tokens.ts, docs/indexer.md and the spec all described a Vercel cron entry running the indexer every 5 minutes. No config file had ever contained a crons key — Vercel schedules cron jobs exclusively from that array, so ingest never ran: the store stayed empty, /api/health/indexer returned healthy: false in perpetuity, and api/_lib/indexer/*, the Postgres migration and the read API were dead code in every deployment. Nothing broke visibly, because the frontend falls back to direct RPC when the indexer is unhealthy, which is exactly why it went unnoticed.

The repo-root vercel.json is authoritative: api/ lives at the repo root and the frontend calls it same-origin, so the deployed project's Root Directory must be the repo root — a project rooted at frontend/ ships no functions at all. frontend/vercel.json therefore carries headers only and must never declare crons.

Both M1 open questions are resolved and recorded:

  • Vercel plan — Pro, so the 5-minute cadence the lag thresholds assume is supported and LAG_WARNING_SECONDS / LAG_CRITICAL_SECONDS stay at 15m / 1h.
  • RPC event retention — ~7 days on SDF public infrastructure, already measured in docs/rpc-rate-limits.md. It bounds only how stale a cold-started Phase B can be, since Phase A resolves identity from contract state.

scripts/check-vercel-cron.mjs runs in CI (and is documented in the mainnet deployment checklist) so this cannot silently regress. It fails the build if the root config stops scheduling /api/cron/index-tokens, if a scheduled path has no handler on disk, if crons appear in frontend/vercel.json, or if the cadence drifts coarser than the lag thresholds it is supposed to satisfy — which is what a downgrade to Hobby's daily-only crons would look like. Its tests run alongside the other scripts/*.test.mjs files, which no workflow had been invoking.

style(frontend): restore a green prettier and eslint baseline

The Frontend CI job has been failing on `main` since Favourorg#1123. Two independent
problems, and the second was invisible because the first aborts the job three
steps before lint runs:

- `prettier --check` flagged nine files. Pure line-wrapping left behind by
  Favourorg#1123, Favourorg#1124, Favourorg#1125 and Favourorg#1126; no behaviour change in any of them.
- `no-control-regex` fires on `DANGEROUS_CHARS` in validation.ts, added by
  Favourorg#1125. The pattern matches control characters on purpose — that is the
  invisible-character injection it exists to reject — so this is a disable
  with a justification, not a weakened pattern. The directive sits on the
  regex line itself: `--report-unused-disable-directives` rejects it one line
  higher, where prettier's wrap puts the assignment.

test(frontend): mock getFactoryState in the TokenExplorer tests

Favourorg#1126 made TokenExplorer read a session-scoped tokenCount snapshot via
getFactoryState() before its first getAllTokens() call, and thread that
snapshot through as a third argument. The test's stellarService stub never
grew the method, so every fetch threw and all six tests rendered the error
state instead of a token list.

CI did not catch it: the Frontend job fails at `prettier --check`, four steps
before the tests ever run.

The two assertions on call arguments now pin the snapshot explicitly, and both
paths assert getFactoryState is called exactly once — the once-per-session
property is the whole point of Favourorg#1126, and nothing was covering it.

chore(deps): npm audit fix for four high transitive advisories

The security-audit npm-audit job has been failing on main. All four resolve
inside their existing semver ranges, so this is a lockfile-only change — no
package.json edit, no major bumps, `npm audit fix` without --force:

test_mint_tokens_rejects_real_reentrant_call has failed since it was added in
Favourorg#1121, and its premise does not hold. It asserted that the malicious fee
token's nested create_token comes back as Err(Ok(Error::Reentrancy)) — the
factory's own guard. It comes back as Err(Err(InvokeError)) instead.

Diagnosed by probe: the Soroban host refuses any call into a contract already
on the call stack, and it refuses it before the callee runs, so the nested
call never reaches the `locked` check. Substituting a read-only get_state()
for the nested create_token fails identically — and a view has no guard to
trip, which rules out the guard as the source of the error.

So the test now asserts refusal rather than a specific error value, and the
comments no longer claim what the test cannot show. It is still a real
end-to-end check that a hostile fee token cannot re-enter mid-mint_tokens.

What it is NOT, despite the docstring Favourorg#1121 gave it, is proof of lock
ordering: moving `state.locked = true` after the distribute_fee call leaves
this test passing. That gap is now recorded as open rather than closed. The
host protects against cross-contract re-entry either way, which makes the
factory's guard defence-in-depth — but nobody should read this file and
believe ordering is covered when it is not.
