Goal

Make the README easier to understand by removing repeated lifecycle descriptions while preserving the complete Workstream v0.1 contract.

What changed

  • replaced the repetitive Core Thesis lifecycle list with six governing invariants
  • reduced the Success Standard to one release-level acceptance statement
  • consolidated the Operating Standard into the unique operational rules
  • kept Current v0.1 State as the single progress-oriented section

Scope

README only. No product behavior, roadmap, initiative state, API, policy, test, CI, or dependency change.

Preserved v0.1 outcomes

  • review decisions: accept, needs_revision, reject
  • revision without history rewriting
  • reviewer and accepted-submission ContributionRecords
  • FinalAcceptance as the accepted submitter source
  • conditional compensation awards and fulfillment
  • runtime reputation projection remains deferred

Verification

  • Markdown link check passed
  • stale Workstream wording check passed
  • git diff check passed
  • focused docs review: PASS WITH LOW RISKS; the only ledger-drift observation was avoided by keeping this PR free of new implementation-state claims

Human review focus

Confirm that consolidation removed repetition without weakening any required REV, CON, artifact, authorization, contribution, or compensation invariant.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Reorganized and clarified the project’s documented core invariants.
    • Simplified implementation-status language for the initial release.
    • Updated success criteria to cover the complete real-person lifecycle.
    • Clarified operating standards for versioning, evidence, records, revisions, and lifecycle gates.
    • Explicitly excluded runtime reputation projection from the release criteria.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

README.md now uses “Core Invariants,” simplifies implementation-status wording, and defines lifecycle-wide success and operating standards for versioned rules, preserved history, validated submissions, attributable contributions, and conditional compensation.

Layer / File(s) Summary
Core invariants and lifecycle standards
README.md
The README defines versioned governance, retained lineage, invalid-submission rejection, append-only history, FinalAcceptance-sourced contributions, and downstream compensation. It also documents lifecycle success criteria and operating rules for locked attempt context, rebased revisions, immutable records, governed lessons, and distinct lifecycle gates.
