The org standardised on MIT as its single license, so unitpm moves off Apache-2.0 as part of the org-wide migration.

  • LICENSE — canonical MIT text, Copyright (c) 2026 Glyndor.
  • README.md — the header line and the License section. Dropped the "Patent grant included" claim with it: MIT carries no patent grant, and leaving that sentence next to an MIT license would be wrong.
  • .github/pull_request_template.md — the license alignment checklist.
  • debian/copyright — it already claimed MIT while LICENSE said Apache-2.0; the two now agree, and the full MIT text is inline because MIT is not under /usr/share/common-licenses.

Left alone on purpose: the historical debian/changelog entries that describe the earlier license change (history, not a claim about the current license) and the third-party license metadata in scripts/bench/pm2/package-lock.json.

Still stale in debian/copyright and worth a separate pass: Upstream-Name: lynxpm and Source: https://github.com/Jaro-c/Lynx — both predate the rename.

The org standardised on MIT as its single license. Replaced the license
text, the two README mentions and the pull request template checklist.

the two now agree, and the full MIT text is inline because MIT is not
under /usr/share/common-licenses the way Apache-2.0 is.
