Summary

add timeout-aware handling for Hermes CLI calls
normalize missing, non-zero, and timed-out hermes --version preflight failures into domain failures
cover timeout/signal paths and prevent raw Command failed: hermes --version output

Test plan

npm run ci
local TTY smoke test against an unavailable hermes --version
