Hi, I'm Gowtham 👋

AI/ML Engineer in Training | Building Systems, Not Just Models

I'm a 3rd-year B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) student focused on becoming a strong AI/ML Engineer and Software Engineer.

I learn by taking problems from:

Understanding → Implementation → Debugging → Evaluation → Deployment → Improvement

My goal is to build the ability to take an unfamiliar real-world problem, figure out what is needed, design a solution, build it, and make it useful.

Current Focus

Machine Learning Engineering

  • Classical Machine Learning
  • Feature Engineering
  • Model Evaluation & Error Analysis
  • ML Pipelines
  • Reusable ML Components
  • Software Engineering for ML
  • APIs & Deployment
  • Gradually developing toward MLOps

Technical Foundation

Languages Python · Java · C · SQL

Machine Learning Scikit-learn · Regression · Classification · Decision Trees · Ensemble Methods · Feature Engineering · Model Evaluation

Data NumPy · Pandas · Matplotlib · Data Analysis · Data Cleaning

Computer Science Object-Oriented Programming · Data Structures & Algorithms · Database Fundamentals

Engineering Git · GitHub · Reusable Code · Modular Project Structure

Selected Work

Project Focus
Customer Churn Prediction Predictive analytics & classification
Breast Cancer Classification Machine Learning & classification
AI-Powered Spam Detection System NLP & text classification

How I Learn

I don't want to optimize for finishing courses.

I optimize for capability.

Engineering Principles

  • Understanding > memorization
  • Building > consuming
  • Real problems > toy exercises
  • Depth > superficial breadth
  • Output > hours studied
  • Evidence > claims
  • Consistency > motivation
  • Compounding > rushing

Long-Term Direction

ML Engineering → AI Engineering → Real-World Problem Solving → Technology Products

I'm working toward becoming an engineer who can independently:

Understand a problem → design a solution → build the system → deploy it → debug failures → evaluate results → improve it → turn useful solutions into products.

Currently Developing

  • Stronger software engineering practices
  • Production-oriented ML
  • Backend & API development
  • Deployment & cloud fundamentals
  • ML system design
  • Deeper problem-solving ability

Let's Build Something Useful.

I care less about collecting technologies and more about developing the ability to use the right technology to solve the right problem.
