FDDARD_FIX.7z download returns empty/410 – mod is marked redundant on ModDB #765

Description

@DKartoffel

When running gamma-launcher full-install, the installer fails on mod #2 "FDDA Redone Fixes" (FDDARD_FIX.7z) with the following error:

[+] Processing mod FDDA Redone Fixes (2/486)

  • Downloading FDDARD_FIX.7z (...): 147iB [00:00, 1.79MiB/s]
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    ...
    File ".../py7zr/py7zr.py", line 823, in _get_method_names
    return get_methods_names([folder.coders for folder in self.header.main_streams.unpackinfo.folders])
    AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'unpackinfo'

The downloaded file is only 147 bytes, not a valid 7z archive. I checked the actual ModDB download link directly and it returns a 410 Gone error. I also tried downloading the file manually from the ModDB page — same result, only 147 bytes.

The ModDB page for this mod is marked "[REDUNDANT, DISABLE NOW!]" and archived by the uploader: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/fdda-redone-fixes

This may be related to the recent patch note update ("Updated FDDA to moddb version, hopefully less busy hands with the updated code") — it's possible the fixes from this mod are now included directly in the updated FDDA, and this entry should be removed from the modlist.

Setup:

Distro: NixOS
gamma-launcher version: 3.0
Full install, fresh setup
