  • Improve, test and document the project

    Improve several parts of the project: Front end: 1. improve layout 2. test the representation in different devices(laptop, mobile) Back end: 1. Integrity the whole project, to be more automatic. test: 1. introduce our project to some IB teachers, let then try our application. 2. use more answer sheets to test correctness Grading: 1. to improve handwriting recognization. Use machine learn to train the application.

  • Add functionality in Grading part

    Add some more functionality in grading part. 1. Recognize the name in answer sheet.(handwriting recognization) 2. Decompose the grading logic: one function only find one attribute of answer sheet. Then combine the attribute together to complete grading. (function includes find number of questions, number of choice, layout of answer sheet.) 3. refactor the code, use inheritance idea to create object. Create abstract class.

  • Website development

    To complete functional skeleton of the website include basic user friendly frond-back end system, user database system and user login system. In front end, we need to complete several pages: 1. index to show general information 2. upload drop zone to upload file, 3. select/input answer, 4. show result. In back end, complete several functions. 1. receive upload files from upload page and save them into unclassified folder 2. check whether users upload answer file or not. 3. move files from unclassified folder to classified folder 4. call grading function to grade the image 5. save the result into database 6. user login verify database: plan to use MySQL, 1. use python-MySQL interface to manipulate database 2. design entity relationship in database include answer sheet address, grade of users, answer of users. user login system 1. user login development To be continue
