This PR updates dependencies to their latest version (it doesn't touch dev dependencies).
It also fixes
cargo clippywarnings (from rustc version 1.91.1). These fixes come in two commits, the first for ones that are fixed automatically withcargo clippy --fix, and the ones that require manual fixing. These were fixed by Gemini 3 Pro and reviewed by myself.
