[Feature]: Microsoft Teams support - agent joins as a real call participant (voice + video) #27

Description

@alaamh

Humalike is what makes a Hermes agent socially fluent in a group: knowing when to speak, reading the room's tone, and remembering who said what across Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord. That social intelligence is exactly what every "AI in a meeting" today is missing.

So the idea: take the Humalike agent you already have and let it join Microsoft Teams calls as a real participant, voice and video, not another chat bot. It works in both 1:1 calls and group meetings, and that split is where Humalike shines: in a 1:1 it's fully conversational, and in a group call it stays quiet until it's addressed, then jumps in, exactly the "when to speak in a group" judgment Humalike already makes in group chats, just in a live call now.

The hard part, getting an agent into a live Teams call with voice, video, and screen, is already solved by an open media bridge:

Humalike stays the brain; the bridge is just the media layer that carries it into the call. Same agent, new stage. With it, your agent answers voice and video calls (1:1 or group), talks in real time, sees the shared screen, speaks up only when it's addressed in meetings, and posts a recap with action items at the end, showing up as an animated avatar tile on the call.

What Humalike could now do:

  • Meeting copilot - joins as a video participant, watches the screen share, and, because it already tracks who said what, knows who's presenting what. Ask "what did the earlier slide say?" and it answers from what it saw.
  • Live troubleshooting - share your screen, it reads the error and talks you through the fix out loud.
  • Watch it work - give it a task mid-call and it shares its own screen back, showing screenshots and images on its tile while it runs, instead of a text summary later.
  • Call me back when done - hand it something long, keep the meeting moving, and it calls you with the result when it's finished. Unanswered calls become a Teams voicemail with transcription.
  • Chat-to-call - ask in a Teams chat, get the answer back as a phone call.
  • Customer-facing agent - someone people can video call, with an animated avatar that reacts as they speak.

The social smarts stay Humalike's, when to speak, the group's tone, who said what. In a 1:1 it's a natural back-and-forth; in a group it behaves like it does in your group chats. The bridge just gives all of that a Teams call to happen in.

I'd be glad to build the integration and contribute it here so this ships as a first-class Teams surface for Humalike agents. Is this something you'd be open to?
