The functionality of a Software Factor Reset (something we can do in-code) doesn't achieve the same outcome as a hardware factory reset. This requires manually holding down a small button to force a factory reset. In an ideal world, if provisioning fails, a software factory reset could be executed automatically to prepare for trying to reprovision (again).
