Create The inputs to the equation:

First create two polygons using the Draw button at the top. Click complete when you finished drawing your polygon.
Then check the checkbox "Select Many Features"
Then tap on both of the polygons you wish to calculate the Minkowski Sum.

Calculating the Minkowski Sum using the Convex Hull

After having your two polygons selected, click Calculate Minkowski Sum Convex Hull
