Error in teleporting

After going to some of the doors/portal, the game just stucks and requires reset to relaunch.

I don't really have enough details there to work out what's going wrong for you.

My guess is that you've just started playing and some of the loading screens just end up black? Possibly all the loading zones for either crystal or emerald?

If this is the case then probably one of the games didn't actually initialize properly, and clearing the roms and save date, refreshing the page and reloading them might fix this.
