Hull Design

The hull of the vessel must meet the following design criteria:
- Foam core coated in fiberglass & resin
- Capable of supporting a minimum of 15 kg payload (batteries, electronics, sonar, etc.)
- Stable in 30 cm waves while a) fully loaded AND b) unloaded
- Low drag at low speeds (planing style hulls such as a V will likely not be suitable)
- Shallow Keel/Draft
- Storage for at least four (4) Eaton PWHR1243 batteries and onboard electronics
- Flat deck area suitable for mounting a 60 W solar panel (size/shape varies)
