As far as the documentation is concerned, I only have a minor comment: I'm not a fan of blind hyperlinks, which do not tell you where the link goes (e.g.: ..., it is detailed in this section. or ... see here for details ...), without hovering over it. For the rest, the docs seem to be well written, but I cannot test the installation due to not having a mac (so I'll just trust that it works as written). Aside from this, do not forget to add your name to the contributors list, both in the Finally, I think I'll need to fix the CI before approving; updating pybind11 will probably suffice, as cmake currently complains about a too low cmake min version, set in the pybind11 |

Good point for the hyperlinks, it's corrected now. |
I added a specific section after the Compilation section in the 2_installation.srt doc. I described the most streamlined gcc installation and compilation I could find.
I also added a small paragraph on how to install python dependencies without conda, and created a requirement.txt file to use with pip. I based the dependencies on the conda-env.yml file.
Both sets of instructions worked fine on isolated environments created on my machine, and the documentation successfully compiled locally.
