Add Proxy/VPN configuration options to the USB installer #18

Description

@Combine-qwq

What would you like to be added?

I live in a region with restricted access to the global internet. When installing the latest system version via a USB flash drive, the installer prompts me to connect to a network, so I connected to my home Wi-Fi.

However, during the installation process, the installer executes tasks like git clone from GitHub, which require a VPN or proxy in my network environment. The problem is that neither the initial setup wizard nor the GUI settings provide options to adjust network configurations or set up a proxy IP and port.

Because I cannot configure my proxy, the installation consistently fails due to connection timeouts to GitHub, forcing me to start the entire process over from scratch.

Suggested Solution:

  • Add a network proxy/VPN setup menu in the installer UI where users can manually enter a proxy IP, port, and protocol.
  • Alternatively, supporting proxy tools or client setups directly within the installer environment would be even better, allowing users to route traffic through their own nodes.
    Additional Context

The mandatory internet connection requirement, combined with the inability to configure a proxy, creates a major obstacle for users in restricted network environments and leads to a frustrating installation experience.

How will it help?
