`fixvr-git` broke after an update (working now)

Since one of the updates aimed at fixing suspending, it stopped working after restarts.

(I forgot to open a new issue instead of discussing it in the other one, so here it is.)

Hi. I've repaired the Index's cable, so I can go back to testing.

we moved /tmp/.valve-index-rebooted to /run/

Are you sure about that? The manual command never works with /run/ for me, with or without manual install:

❯ sudo rm -f /run/.valve-index-rebooted
  sudo udevadm trigger --action=add --subsystem-match=hidraw
  sleep 4
  ls -l /run/.valve-index-rebooted
"/run/.valve-index-rebooted": No such file or directory (os error 2)

However, after using

sudo curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MiguVT/fixvr/main/src/99-valve-index-reboot.rules \
  -o /etc/udev/rules.d/99-valve-index-reboot.rules
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger --action=add --subsystem-match=hidraw

I get

❯ sudo rm -f /tmp/.valve-index-rebooted
  sudo udevadm trigger --action=add --subsystem-match=hidraw
  sleep 4
  ls -l /tmp/.valve-index-rebooted
.rw-r--r-- 0 root  5 maj 10:08  /tmp/.valve-index-rebooted

And now... the Index now restarts correctly every time. Also, the command always works with /tmp/.

So I removed the manually-installed udev rule from /etc/udev/rules.d/ and reinstalled fixvr-git, and now, shockingly, it works. Though what surprises me is that the rule added by fixvr-git from AUR isn't in /etc/udev/rules.d/, so it must be somewhere else.

Long time I dont check the AUR but it looks like I made it to be saved in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/

I would suggest closing this issue, as it's working on main.
